These tire irons are made from forged chrome-vanadium steel (no stamped sheet metal) with a shot-peened surface for strength relief and are nickel-plated for corrosion resistance. The rounded edges help avoid tube pinching and tire damage and feature an I-beam cross section for strength and bend resistance.
