• 190.2cc Beta-built 2-stroke — liquid-cooled single with a BPV (Beta Progressive Valve) exhaust valve for clean torque right off the bottom and a strong top-end hit.
• New for 2026: new piston and cylinder head — updated combustion chamber delivers more torque and power across the range.
• Keihin PWK 36mm carburetor with electronic oil injection — no premixing, just gas and go. AC Kokusan CDI ignition with NGK BR8ECM plug.
• Reinforced gear set and larger main bearings for 2026 — durability upgrades borrowed from the bigger RR models.
• 6-speed transmission, wet multi-disc clutch, O-ring chain, and electric start.

Race-Bike Frame, Trail Manners

• New frame for 2026 — larger backbone design adopted from the RR Race and RX models for improved stability; molybdenum steel double-cradle.
• ZF SHC 48mm fork — single-sided spring, fully adjustable preload, compression, and rebound; 11.6 in. of travel.
• Sachs rear shock — fully adjustable, 11.4 in. of travel.
• New front brake caliper for 2026 (from the 450 RX) on a 260mm floating rotor; 240mm rear rotor with a larger-volume master cylinder.
• 22mm rear axle, XTrig FlexFix elastomer handlebar mounts, front rescue strap, and coolant recovery tank.
• Seat sits 3/4 in. lower than earlier RR models with softer foam — confidence when the trail gets technical. 214 lbs dry claimed.
